OT: Library

If you are in or near the Washington, DC area as a resident or visitor,
you may want to check out this library that was listed in an article in
the weekly Weekend section of the Washington Post the other week. I
have not been there yet, so I cannot vouch for this place, but it does
sound to be interesting.

Brookside Gardens Horticulture Library, 1500 Glenallen Ave., Wheaton, MD
 (301) 962 1410. Open daily noon to 5 pm.

It is a one room library with more than 3000 volumes and periodicals.
Scheduled to move soon to the new visitors center, near the main gardens
(50 acres of gardens). Books are organized into categories such as
"gardening," "greenhouses," and "botany." Books and catalogs are for
onsite use only.
