Re: TB-HIST: Don't Cry for Me, ARGENTINA

From: Mike Lowe <mlowe@worldiris.com>

I have been digging around to see if I could pinpoint when the correct
ancestry for ARGENTINA was published but have not, as of yet, found the
first published account.

In AIS Bulletin No. 105, April 1947, Geddes Douglas gave the family tree of
CAHOKIA. In that pedigree he showed ARGENTINA's pollen parent as KASHMIR
WHITE.

Need to go back a bit further -- there is a six year period to be covered
(39 Check List came out in '41) but my Bulletin holdings start to get
spotty during the war years.

Cheers,

Mike Lowe
