Thanks for the info.  Our temperature fell below 32, but it didn't get near
19.  I covered up certain plants, including the Iris.  I understand I should
have left it uncovered now.  Maybe it will be enough to boost it into bloom
this spring.  My mother in law can send me Iris bulbs from MO, but I don't
know the variety.  When is the very best time to plant them? Carole in Central
Florida.
