Well, here's another perspective. Maybe not for a Millennium Iris, but for an
iris for all folks.
Is there an iris, in your opinion, that could be offered as an All-American??
(North American, CDN buds)... I mean, grows well from coast to coast... has
survived the test of time... one that you can recommend without hesitation to
any gardener???
Are we back then to STEPPING OUT (still on the Popularity Poll)?? Or maybe
something newer like VICTORIA FALLS (yes, yes, I know about the 'fall' part...
) or DUSKY CHALLANGER.
Maybe CEASAR'S BROTHER?? Or my personal fav PINK BUBBLES.
The daylily folks offer an award each year for such a daylily. Has to be at
least 10 years old, widely grown and easily found... and has to grow great
everywhere.
Interesting concept.
Kathyguest.... who has some important things to do, but can't help but look
out the window at the approaching storm.
