Louisiana Iris Cultivars by Charles Fritchie, Jr. has the following entry:
Lilyana (P50) Purplish pink, large crest. I. fulva X I giganticaeruelea alba.
That all there is.
I think the (P50) indicated that the cultivar was first mention in a
publication in 1950.
