But that was a survey of members who came to the fall meeting, who are
probably the same members most interested in competitive showing. Our
club, on the other hand, almost has to be whipped to get us to do a
competetive show - we grow irises for our own joy or to give away or
sell for other people's joy. If they don't grow well, we don't like
'em. Usually. Right, Connie?
