Excellent idea! Other areas you can "educate the public" are to volunteer
to give classes at Botanical Gardens, Master Gardener Meetings, and Garden
Clubs. An excellent way to get the Garden Clubbers hooked is to have a
federated design show in conjunction with your regular show. The design
section creates quite a spectacular display, and when the garden clubbers
come to see the design section you can also educate them about the varieties
and different types of irises they can use in THEIR flower arrangements.
