Hello Folks,
Well, it is staying VERY dry here. So I'm wondering about supplemental
water on irises. Especially the Spurias, LAs, SIBs, but also the beardeds
including arilbreds. How often? How much? Is it a waste of time for
some?
Will it improve bloom in the spring? Those sorts of things. Truthfully I
have
been giving supplemental watering to the LAs and SIBs and finally dosed
the TBs, but have held off on the arilbreds and spurias. However, the soil
surface is turning to powder, which means the red clay brick is really
getting
dry. Comments, opinions welcome.
