Hi Talkers,
If I can manage to get a new rhizome through the first winter, as a result of
a mild winter or what ever, it will often be okay after that. Being firmly
rooted in the soil seems to be a critical point.
Also, if I move irises to another spot in my own garden, some that I think to
be tough will die during a roller coaster winter with repeated freezing and
thawing.
Anyone else have this experience?
