FW: SPEC: Dottie's Double

Somebody a few years ago gave me a piece of what she said was a Louisiana
iris, DOTTIE'S DOUBLE, which apparently was found in the wild by Dottie's
young daughter while on a family picnic, if I remember the story right. It
has six falls, no standards, a soft pale blue, and blooms after the TBs but
before the JI.

I mentioned this plant at yesterday's dig, and somebody said that it's not a
Louisiana at all, but a natural versicolor-laevigata cross. Can anybody
clarify?

straight of breezy balmy sunny summer - not even humid! And the Lucifer
