I have friends who lived in the sub Sahara for several years. Anna was
their live in housekeeper there. After they returned to Delmarva, Anna
came to the States to visit. It was Japanese beetle season and they had
traps set around the rose garden. Anna was fascinated with the traps and
watched them for several days. Finally she asked in earnest, "Are you
going to eat them?"
I used milky spore in 1996 and have seen a steady decline in beetles
ever since. There has been no visible damage to sod from the grubs.
