Howdy all,
I use Venetian blind slats cut into lengths and then a black or coloured
paint pen. This puts a paint coating rather than a texta coating onto th
metal. Seems to last for ages.
Also as insurance I write the details on the other end of the marker as
well, so if the top one does fade, then the other one below the ground is
still there. once I started putting the label on the end underground as
well, I've never lost a name.
I also find that the venetian blinds being curved so not tend to buckle as
much.
