What did you expect? You joined a list that has over 500 members. There have
not been many mailings lately, when this list gets busy there can be over
100 letters per day. These people are not writing to you individually, but
when you subscribed to it, you set it yourself, so that you would receive
all these postings daily.
If you go to www.egroups.com, and enter your password, you can either
unsubscribe, or you can set no mail. this is a simple procedure, just as
easy as getting on the list.
If you are still interested in this list, you can read the archives from
www.Mallorn.com/lists/iris-talk, whenever you wish, without having to
receive daily postings from the list. You can even search for particular
topics that interest you.
