Re: new beds (for irises!)

This monster (as I call my computer) has been out-of-whack for nearly 2 weeks
- and everything on this desk has been misplaced trying to find out how to
get back in business. But I just want to put a word in about that iris that
sneaked thru/under the fence. Before adopting it, be SURE it is not infested
with the borer -- and I hope the owner on the other side of the fence is a
better iris gardner than I have the other side of my fence. I have about been
ruined by borers this year because my neighbor does not believe in using
chemicals - I don't either unless there is a problem - but, with the weather
we have had, etc -- there IS a problem! Good luck with your new beds -- Glad
to have another iris devotee -- hope you'll add some reblooming irises to
your collection! Rosalie nr Baltimore,USA zone 7
