SP: I. 'nova'

I've raised two plants of this undescribed Evansia species from SIGNA seed.
The larger one is already showing the "bamboo" stem typical of the larger,
subtropical Evansias. According to the BIS species book:

"A cytogenetic survey of some Asiatic collected specimens...has revealed
the occurrence of two potential new species. One, with a chromosome number
of 2n = 30, was received as a form of I. confusa. However, it had a growth
habit similar to that of I. wattii and had large, white, self-fertile
flowers, thus making it distinct from I. confusa and probably also from I.
wattii. Unfortunately the supplier of this new iris had no details of its
origin; an dthis lack of information precludes any attempt to justify
describing it as a new species. For recording purposes, it has been
referred to as I. 'nova' (Ellis 1980). In its growth form and chromosome
number it shows close affinity to both Ii. confusa and wattii and will
readily hybridize with both species"

Does anyone on the list have more information about this plant?
