If we're really talking about *dream* irises and limited to TBs, I'd want
* a coal black with a stark white beard and a shocking electric blue streak down the center of the falls. Heavily laced and with PBF.
* A 6' tall reblooming mulberry red self with petite blooms on 4 branches plus. Something a 45 mph can't knock over.
* Or a chocolate brown on cream plicata with moss green beard.
And if not limited to beardeds....
* A 12" border JI with lavender falls and yellow standards. Or yellow falls and lavender standards.
* Mini sibtosas. One in every color possible!
* A JI with baby pink standards and lavender blue falls. Kind of an Ensata version of CELEBRATION SONG.
* Anything part psuedacorus (gopher proof) with rose or pink blooms.
Of course everything would have to be disease resistant and nearly carefree. :)
