No, no, not at all.
I was just saying that I feel that using a couple letters and some "x"s
(e.g. Sxxx) or an acronym for a rude or unaccetable word or phrase is
the same as using the phrase, everybody knows what you mean. My position
is that we don't need that on the list.
Using things like BTW (by the way) LOL, IMHO (in my humble opinion), IMO
(in my opinion [if you are not so humble <grin>]), AFK (away from
keyboard [used in chats]) etc are perfectly acceptable. Iris-talk is
meant for all age groups, and I want it to be squeaky clean in regard to
language. Maybe I was anticipating a problem that I should not have
bothered with.
The list has (with one or two exceptions) never had problems in this
regard.
