I have seen products in the pet store for keeping away dogs, cats,
squirls, snakes and skunks. On HGTV I watched a show that
recommended putting down black plastic and spreading lime on it, to
keep raccoons out of your veggie garden. The racoons do not like the
taste of lime. I'm not sure if a lot of lime would be good for your
Irises. Maybe you could put it around the out side parimeter of the
Iris bed.
