SPEC: Neomarica caerulea, Pardanthopsis dichotoma

Neomarica caerulea opened another bloom this morning. The same stalks have
been producing flowers off and on since March! I'm really sold on this
plant. Although only in an 8" pot, both my plants have big, healthy,
non-flopping foliage to 4.5' tall, and the flower stalks, which are also
leaf-like, go over 6'! The flowers are about 50% larger than N. gracilis
and a very pretty grayed blue. I wonder, though, if it produces
proliferations from the flower stalks like other Neomarica. No sign of
those yet.

Pardanthopsis dichotoma started blooming this past weekend. The plants of
tetraploid Pardancanda from SIGNA seed are growing rapidly and I'm hoping
they'll bloom this fall.

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN MY EMAIL ADDRESS, EFFECTIVE JULY 12, 2000, AS
