Lots of animals that are opportunistic feeders will dig at random anywhere
they find loose earth. "Grubs" might not be the problem. If you are
convinced you need to use something to kill "grubs", let me suggest Milky
Spore rather than a chemical insecticide--Milky Spore lasts for several
years and is not harmful to other living things.
