Sorry to have added to your smoke problems, I know that the fires around
Canyon Ferry have really been bad. The Bucksnort fire is about out but the
other across the lake is raging. However this Monday eve at 8:15 we are
getting a WET thunderstorm and boy is it welcome. It's been so darn hot
and dry that I haven't had the courage to plant my shipment from Schriners,
I may just pot them up tomorrow and put them in a semi shady spot on the
deck and keep the hose handy for a drink now and then. I finally found my
way thru the jungle of weeds in the TB bed and gave them a drink earlier
this evening, maybe that is what brought the rain on. You folks in the
east that have been having all the cool wet season, you can ship some of it
our way. Hopefully next week I'll be able to get in and dig some iris for
the annual Eastgate Garden Club sale, this year we will combine it with
Daylilies. Anyone in the Helena, Montana area that wants plants please
contact me privately.
