Hi all,
Robert, no problem. Don't want to sound like a commercial for the Google Search engine but find that one to be most beneficial. Several universities have information pages on irises in addition there are lots of iris pages that no one would know about if not searching for them.
Go to http://www.google.com
Then click on "Advanced Search"
In the "Exact Phrase" box key whatever iris subject matter you desire to research, i.e. Iris Scorch, Iris Spot, Iris Dividing....
Lastly, click the "Google Search" button

Subject: [iris-talk] CULT: Dividing Iris
Hi all,
Well here it is July 9th, already. Next weekend will be dividing 1/3 of the irises in the garden. Most references suggest that the dividing should be done mid-August or later, however do mine a month early for 2 reasons. 1 - usually its milder and less humid in July than in August in southeast Michigan, and 2 - proreacting to the possibility of an early arriving winter prefer the divided irises have an extra 30 days to resettle.
Should anyone in iris-talk like to read articles on the Internet regarding dividing irises, try these:
