I too would love to have the database on CD. There are several database
programs that people use including different versions of MS Access. The
datafile on CD would only be usable by those people having that particular
database software. ;.(
John's putting it on line with a simple easy interface makes it available to
anyone with an internet connection. A really remarkable job by John and crew!
A CD with OCR scans of the R& I volumes as text files would allow computer
searches. Individuals could MERELY comma delimit the whole thing to import to
their database. :>)
