Ah so; there is truncating. I was used to using "$" with online university
library programs and had tried that symbol here with no success. I
didn't know if it was a universal symbol for truncating or not.
So, it is the little aster. Do you suppose you'll eventually have
an introduction to the iris register site with FAQ's and
instructions?? It would help in the future, and I could have
certainly used that little aster long ago. Yes, I know asterisk and
ampersand but don't know if it is crape myrtle or crepe myrtle. I
even know one who drops the 'e' on the first entry listed here.
