Online Ordering - and Zone 7 planting

Hello again,
Being a newbie to Iris' I have a couple of questions. I did a little research
on online ordering and seems the website http://www.schreinersgardens.com/ is
highly recommended for iris ordering. Anyone ordered from this company? and
what did they think of it. Also, how late in Zone 7 can you plant iris. I have
read or maybe told that you can plant iris up to a few weeks before the first
frost. I am in Zone 7Aish or Bish (not the mountains of Georgia but around 1
hour from the foothills). It is way too, too hot to be planting now or August.
I was considering September or early October? Hard freezes here seem to be
possibly in December but more likely in January, if at all. Suggestions anyone.
By the way thanks for all welcoming me to this group. Seems very informative,
and I hope to learn a lot about these absolutely beautiful plants.
