I said I ask frist.
To day I saw a yard that had a lot of Iris and weeds in it (by Bayou
St John) I rang the bell at the gate and when the maid came out I
asked if the onwer would like to trade or let me have a few.
When she came back out she told me the old lady said you are not s to
ask for a peice or two from different plants and they will grow
better, so since you asked you better take a bunch to make sure they
grow.
It must be some old New Orleans thing, my mother (in her 70's thinks
that) Most who say that are over 60, the younger ones want to sell you
some.
