This may seem like a dumb question, but what does 'clay soil' look
like? How does one know they have it? Is this a 'bad' soil for
bearded iris, and if so, what does one do to remediate?

Laetitia (where the soil is so full of rocks, it might be impossible
to determine if it were 'clay' soil or just 'rock' soil.
