Re: HYB: help - planting fresh seeds? TRY THIS !!


Don't the Nicholsons of Woodland Iris Gardens plant their seeds in 
the same way as Steve Rocha does on the website below -- namely, 
directly into large pots in the fall?  I'd ask them, but this is 
their busiest season, digging and shipping.  I've asked Steve, 
though, why he plants in such big pots with the seeds gathered in the 
center.  Most of the pros seem to advocate moving the sprouted seeds 
as soon as possible into seedbeds.  Maybe he will post his answer so 
all can get his perspective on this.
