Re: First Iris Order

Hi Susan:
I certainly remember the arrival of my FIRST order!! After all these
years, that excitement still exists when a new order arrives - I have to
contain myself to not tear it open with my teeth!! Susan, don't be concerned
about a "kinda shrivled" rhizome. It will 99% of the time put down roots and
grow fine. The white mold on the cut end of TWO SIDED COIN - again, not to
worry. Scrape it off and make up a solution of clorex/purex bleach, 9 parts
water, 1 part bleach and wash the rhizome in the solution. Have fun and stay
with Iris-Talk. . .you will learn more than you ever thought possible!
