As we approach summer and Region and Club Auctions... if anyone is
interested in a MS Excel spreadsheet specifically designed to help with the
tracking of sales at auctions, I developed one two years ago that has been
used by several regions, all with excellent feedback. All you have to do
is email me and I'll send it back to you as an attachment to email. The
features are:
- Bidders are registered prior to the start of sale. Bidder
number corresponds to bidder card/plate handed out.
Designed to handle up to 70 bidders. (Region14 generally
has
about 25-30 bidders per auction.)
- Sales are recorded live as auction is taking place. Spreadsheet
automatically extends and tracks sale by bidder numbers.
- Sale total to current minute known at all times.
- Constant running total by bidder number. When sale ends, bidder
totals
are immediately available.
- Complete instructions included within spreadsheet.
- Suggested hardware to use is just a good laptop... no printing
required.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel advisable.
