Does this mean they can sprout without any chilling?  As in right away after
planting?  Any special location for the nick - or just anywhere on the seed
coat (assuming here the nick is not deep enough to damage the embryo).

Was this on the nicked seeds that were subsequently dried, or on the green
planted seeds as well?
