Kwanzo Fulva is the double one that is the oldest known. The Europa Fulva
that she is speaking of is a single one from the same species. The single
one is a ditch lily here, I understand that Kwanzo the double is in the
ditches up north, but that is what my Northern friends tell me, so its hear
say. I do have areas on my 7 acres that each of these grow. I do not put
them in my daylily beds, however. The Kwanza was given me by a dear Japanese
friend and the Fulva was moved from my dads homeplace. He fancied them
because they performed with no muss or fuss! He grew more irises and roses
in his gardens however.
