Linda.....Your idea was my initial guess. Kind of like "forcing" only
instead of wanting them to bloom early we want them to bloom late.
Those of you that suggested ice/snow...I'd hope we wouldn't have anything
like that late in the year! I remember one April when we had a 6 inch
snow/ice blizzard......rare for us.......my house was surrounded by straw
trying to keep my tulips and other spring bulbs from freezing to death.
??(THINKING)??-Maybe I could shovel some snow up this winter and place it in
a bucket inside my germ. house refrigerator
and......(INDECISIVENESS)..nah.....to extreme!
