About half right. Five cats now ( all 'dumped' or 'son of dumped' , in and out, fixed, had their shots, and totally loved). NOT insecure, just incredulous that no one else had jumped on the topic. Cost conscious? 'Round here we term it 'tight as the bark on a tree'. Can't avoid the daylilies, I have to dig them out and give them away periodically. One neighbor has a 40 foot row of them now. See, this is a perverted expression of frugality - I can't bear to just kill em. No No! I put in the effort to dig them out, then give them away!
