Hi all,
Like the rest of the folks on Iris Talk, I was all a-twitter over the arrival of my two (so far) orders. My order from Sutton's was, as always, outstanding and was planted within minutes of its arrival. My order from Argyle Acres was also fantastic with fat, well rooted rhizomes. I ordered 14 historics and asked them to substitute from a list of 5 alternates I provided, if substitutions were necessary. They sent all 14 on my list plus all the ones from the sub list. I was blown away! That order was also immediately planted and some of the rhizomes from both orders are already starting to show new growth in the centers of the fans. And to think I must hover over them for another 10 months before I can see their blooms.........come on spring!!!
