Ellen - you will have to get John Jones to explain the quirks of Yahoo.
I have waded thru the registration process with Yahoo three times (three
different emails) and it eventually lets me post messages, but still
limits my access to various things and when it asks for my ID etc,
refuses to accept it. I have no desire to fix anything.
John did something that made it possible for me to view the iris-talk
index at Yahoo, but I haven't asked him to fix the iris-photos index so
I can view it. There are still some of us who can't view the photos
sections at yahoo (those listed on the side panel of both Yahoo
iris-talk and Yahoo iris-photos).
Anyway, I prefer using Mallorn - easier and less time consuming for me,
as well as providing access to earliest dialogues. Plus iris-photos
doesn't require downloading to view photos in the archives.
