Just found a big stalk forming on VIOLET MUSIC.
The stalk on RENOWN was definitely gladiolus type bloom. I often see
that type of branching (non branching?) on certain cultivars in spring
bloom, usually to a lesser degree. The ones that look like that won't
set pods. so far.
