Hello all!
Thought I'd do a quick intro, don't know if we're supposed to or not.
I'm Holly - 28, married and going back to school in August for vet tech.
Irises are my favorite and I'm very interested in growing, hybridizing,
etc. I thought this list would be the best place for me to learn the ropes
... before I start ordering irises. The only ones I have, I have no name
for - they're the "normal" purple ones, dark purple falls, lighter purple
standards.
So, any suggestions on books to buy and read, which irises maybe to start
out with, etc, would be greatly appreciated.
My dream is to someday have an iris farm like Rainbow Iris or maybe
Cooley's (okay, I dream big, sue me ;) )
