The last of the guest iris arrived late last Wednesday. Our gracious host Larry Lauer has allowed us to use about an acre in a eucalyptis grove to process the iris. The resident coven of crows have been labeling everything including Cathys cell phone. Almost all the iris are trimmed and labeled but the washing and three days drying time for about 4,000 returns is a lengthy space consuming project. Depending on shipping time returns should be received from tomorrow till about three weeks. It would be very difficult at this time to be more definite about any specific iris.

My understanding is that they are in the process now, though I do not know how long the process takes.

When do plants usually come home from convention display gardens? Or does that vary a lot from year to year?
