Will, I usually clean or strip the pods and stalks as soon as possible after
I'm sure of a take. I carry a small pair of scissors to remove the old
blooms and spathes, etc. I clean off all the old leaves and branches. They
lead to rot.

Still I get one or two pods infected with the moth almost every year. I'm
hoping the lace 'envelopes' will have helped with this but I doubt they will.

I've just done a fairly quick walk through looking for collapsed stalks.
Everything looks pretty good right now. Several of the pods have stayed rather
small, which I attribute to the hot dry weather we've experienced . . . but
maybe not.

A quick walk through is about all I'm up for right now. I would like to
water all of the pod bearing clumps, but just don't have the energy to drag the
hose around.
