Thanks Neil.
If it hadn't been for discussions and ideas from folks here, it would
never have occurred to me to make that cross, or to recognize that 'mud'
color might include a pink layer. Or to know how to identify it with
kitchen chemistry.
The cross is unlikely to produce anything very good, but it's nice to
have some tough healthy pinks to add to the color palette I can count on
blooming here.
