I know you have gotten a lot of response.  But one word of caution.  The active ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate, which is inactivated when it hits the soil.  However, READ THE LABEL some of the newer formulations Roundup has out includes DICAMBA which does stay in the soil and can act to sterize the soil for a period of time.
