AD:Sale of Rose Garcia's iris

Rose Garcia is a longtime irisarian in Stockton, California.
She is now in her mid-90s, and may soon have to leave her
home to go into assisted living. She would like other iris lovers
to have access to her extensive collection of iris. A list of
the varieties she grows is appended to this message.
This includes many hard-to-find cultivars from the 50s, 60s,
and 70s, as well as some older and newer varieties.

Rose would like to receive $2.00 per rhizome for her iris
(plus shipping cost). If you're interested in getting some
of these rhizomes, please email me before July 13, 2007.
Please don't send money beforehand - we'll work out
the exact amounts after the iris have been dug.

As a precaution - while we're reasonably certain as
to the IDs of these iris, problems can and do crop up
(many of her iris beds have not been divided in some time
and clumps may have wandered a bit). While we can't
guarantee correct ID, we'll do our best to make sure
the ID is correct.

Thanks for helping preserve historic (and soon-to-be historic) iris!

Jean Richter
