I use Database Oasis  http://databaseoasis.com/  I love it.
It is a database program that is user friendly. Very easy to set up your own or you can download my templates for free.

Very easy to use. One of the best things is you can have photos of the iris. That is very hard to do in most databases. 
Don't know if it is Mac compatable.
