Hi, Beth. Yes, Spencer is about 30 min. S of the southern Ithaca City line.
I attend CU every day! ( I work there, in Olin Library).
I hope you were able to do some salvaging. The wet weather has now moved in
here, and it's pretty hard to get any digging done. I persevered yesterday
eve. through showers, but eventually it turned into a downpour, and then the mud
to work accomplished ratio just got ridiculous, so I quit. Lately, I've had
at least one set of muddy garden duds drying out in the shower at all times.
Where exactly do you live? (I used to get to Oneonta on a weekly basis,
when I worked as a health sciences circuit librarian (back before the days of
computers and CDs at every turn!), and A.O. Fox used to be one of the hospitals
I serviced.) I have good memories of the personnel there. I also used to go
to The Hospital in Sidney, and DVH in Walton. (Wonder how DVH is faring these
days....).
Let me know more about what you grow! I'm pretty busy and won't always get
back quickly, but would like to hear more about you.
