outlook express problem

Friends  --  My Outlook Express (may its designers receive their just reward)
once again has eaten my saved e-mails, this time all of them since May 1,
2009.  At the moment, it is also deleting every incoming message before I can
read it, so please don't try to send me anything until I get it fixed.
Fortunately, all my records of orders have been transferred to paper, so
there's no problem of missing deliveries.  For one or two of you, however,
I've wanted to double-check on your readiness to receive delivery.  I'll try
to do that by individual messages, and perhaps you can reach me by cell phone,
using your free minutes.  I'll put my number in my messages to you.  Thanks
for your patience.  I'll be looking forward to being back in full touch.  --
