Hi Linda and Betty,
 
I agree whole heartedly with the idea that online
catalogs should give the iris pedigree. They also should show a picture of the
clump of the iris or give a description of the plant. We are getting too many
iris with super blooms and poor plants. I put VIVA MEXICO in the garbage today
because it breaks up into many small plants instead of making a connected
clump. It has very small rhizomes and small leaves.
