I'm just making a clarification/correction on my statement below. Actually, Keith Keppel's Registration info is quite correct and keeps excellent records. So, I mispoke what I said previously. It was a generalization regarding two people on this list who are helping me achieve my goal. They are actually helping me sort out others' errors or clarifying my understanding of what I'm researching. There are many errors that I cannot sort out without the official records of people who have passed on or without contact information, let alone that some of them don't write back when contacted. Keith and Paul B. have been quite generous and tolerant of my pestering. Keith took offense as was justified so, not to mention having been THE Registrar at one time himself. It was certainly unintended and an erroneous impression I submitted for perusal. -----Original Message----- >From: Paul Archer <pharcher@mindspring.com> >Sent: Jul 18, 2012 12:56 PM >To: iris@hort.net >Subject: RE: [iris] AIS: CAT: my wish list > >>I'll also note that having gone through the majority of the AIS online database (E-Z so far) there are many errors (sdlg# formatting, cultivar spellings, and parentage). I am correcting them in my database along the way where I can by contacting the Hybridizers and making notes of the one's I can't. The Hybridizers should be submitting correction forms for the ones I've found. Keith Keppel and Paul Black can attest to how much of a pest I'm being. > >Paul Archer >Indianapolis --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
