Hi Linda. I have been putting my iris seeds in a plastic bag with the seeds wrapped in a moist paper towel for several seasons now. I forgot to put my last years seeds in the baggies until sometime in January of this year. I had intentions of planting the seeds in posts in March but did not get them in pots until two days ago! They were in the fridge crisper for 6 months! I did notice that all seeds in each paper towel had sprouted. They were growing into the moist paper towels. The sprouts have started coming up and I did place them on north side of the house kinda in the shade. (hoping they will stay cooler and somewhat moist). I will let you know how things progress. What's the temp where they are?> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE IRIS
