Ridges on leaves

I have notice that a number of my TB's have ridges (maybe minature waves
would be a better description) in their leaves perpendicular to the long
axis of the leaf. I seem to remember seeing some develop in the sping,
but a lot more are evident now.

Not all my plants have it, but most (not all) of each variety do. In
some cases it almost looks like the new leaf coming up thru the center
of the fan is getting wrinkled as it pushes out.

I'm postulating as I write, but maybe it has to do with the wierd warm,
cool, warm, cool etc weather pattern we have been having here.

Any ideas?
